The respondent: God
In May 2016, a guy named D.S. appealed to the Haifa court for a restraining order against… God. I know that it sounds hilarious but this is an hilarious case that shows – from one hand – how democratic the Israeli system is (anyone can appeal to courts, and the court’s clerk would not bounce it back) but on the other hand – how stupid the system is. The judge was by the way “Achsan Knaan” – an Israeli from Arab decent.
The judge decided that the case is dismissed, and said that the guy needs mental support. I actually think that he is a genius 🙂
